Excited for the arrival of our Pulsed X- and Q-band EPR and 12T Physical Property Measurement System. Huge thanks to @DeptofDefense and @AFOSR for their support.

Thanks to @GroupHeeney and many others for a wonderful visit to @KAUST and incredible hospitality!

About The Azoulay Research Group

Our research program unites strong synthetic foundations with physics, materials science, and engineering to synthesize and apply next-generation functional polymer materials.

We are particularly interested in new classes of organic semiconductors with infrared functionality, complex and tunable electronic structures, varying magnitudes of intramolecular electron-electron pairing, cooperative electronic properties based on π-electrons, and controlled spin alignments; design paradigms which underlie the development of next generation (opto)electronic technologies.

Our group runs a laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for the synthesis of new materials; optical, electronic, magnetic, molecular weight, and morphological characterization; and device fabrication and engineering capabilities.

Available Positions

Post-Doctoral Researchers

We are continually recruiting postdoctoral fellows with demonstrated expertise in one of our research programs.  Postdoctoral fellows are required to publish in high-impact journals, coordinate research and laboratory activities, communicate with research sponsors, develop new research directions, and devote a portion of their time to mentoring graduate students. Only candidates with a strong record of publication in peer-reviewed journals will be considered.

Graduate Student Researchers

We are recruiting graduate students for Ph.D. degree positions in Chemistry and Biochemistry or Materials Science and Engineering.  Information related to the programs can be found below.  Please go to https://grad.gatech.edu/admissions for information on applying for graduate studies at Georgia Tech.
